Journal of Neurodegenerative & Cerebrovascular Diseases

The Journal of Neurodegenerative and Cerebrovascular Diseases (JNCD) is an international peer-reviewed journal with a scope on neurodegenerative processes and vascular pathology in the central nervous system. It is a multidisciplinary forum for a variety of  specialties, such as neurology, psychiatry and psychology, internal medicine, epidemiology, radiology, surgery and rehabilitation,  involved in diagnostics and treatment of neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular diseases. The JNCD publishes results from basic and  clinical research projects in the field of common neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular diseases, including Alzheimer dementia,  Parkinson's disease, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, and rare diseases, such as Huntington?s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis  and CADASIL. The focus of the JNCD is also on interaction between neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular processes, and therefore, on  such diseases as vascular dementia, vascular Parkinsonism and subcortical vascular encephalopathy (SVE).

The high-quality original papers and reviews from a broad spectrum of scientific research areas ranging from genetics and molecular biology through epidemiology, pharmacology to clinical trials will be considered for publication. The results from research projects devoted  to quality of life, public health and outcome research are also welcome for submission. Letters to Editor provide a forum for the  exchange of new ideas. Case reports with important new findings are welcome.
